It’s time to think about some fun DIY crafts that you can do with your kids in preparation for Christmas with the holiday season already upon us. My kids love holiday crafts, and I’m sure you’re going to do it too! Finding an age-appropriate craft that all children will enjoy making has always been challenging. Each of my kids has a couple of years between them, so we’ve acquired quite a lot of creative ideas. You can use a few tips here. Find it a gift from me to you early in December!
One of my all-time favorite crafts is the bead garlands. They’re fun to make for kids of all ages, extremely colorful and great. You’re going to need some string or plastic cord, lots of beads, scissors, and glue. Cut the string or cord and thread it through the first bead to the desired length. Form a knot around the bead and add a little glue to keep it safe. Add the remainder of your beads now. Tie the string off on the last bead as you reach the end and remove a little more glue. Now it’s been fun, isn’t it?
2. Pine Cone Ornaments
In our repertoire of Christmas crafts, pine cone ornaments have also become classics. They are suitable for children of any age and are kept in storage very well. Also you don’t have to You’ll need to collect the pine cones for some time. When we go out walking the dog, we collect them. We just paint them with gold or silver paint and cover them with glitter. Let them dry in a safe place, and tie them with a piece of ribbon to your tree. Do you still get into the spirit of the holiday?
3. Bell Ornaments
Bell ornaments are a lot of fun to make and they’re going to last for years to come. We feel that it is best to use small terracotta pots. Have the kids paint the green pot and let it cool. Attach fake jewels or beads with glitter glue to it once the pot is completely dry. Then thread a small ribbon bell and pull the ribbon through the pot hole. Tie a knot in the ribbon to hold the bell secure and add any other final touches you may want. I’m sure these crafts will love your children as much as mine do! Have a wonderful vacation, all of you!
Sooner or later, it will be better if you prepare Christmas DIY craft with your children. Besides being fun for children, this activity also teaches them to love the warmth of the holidays and gather with their families. Have fun!
